I. GENERAL RULES

1. STUDENT & FACULTY APPLICATION SHOULD BE A KOREAN, CHINESE, TAIWANESE, THAI OR JAPANESE CELEBRITIES/ACTOR/SINGERS.
*** Muses should range from those category only. They could be from jpop, cpop, kpop, jrock, krock, solo actors... as long as they are Asian.

2. NO FEMALE CHARACTERS
*** Only Male Characters are allowed, since this is an all boy’s school after all. So expect some slash pairings here.

3. ONE MUN = FOUR MUSES. ONE MUSE= ONE ACCOUNT.*NEW. UPDATED. JULY 2, 2008*
*** Each member are entitled to only have a maximum of 4 muses as of now till prior notice is announced. You SHOULD have a separate account for your Muses but please indicate in your second/third/fourth application that you are claiming for a second/third/fourth muse. Include in there the username you used in your first application/muse.

4. ONE MONTH BEFORE DROPPING AND RE-APPLYING *NEW. UPDATED. JULY 2, 2009*
*** If you wish to drop a muse and re-apply for a different one, you must have had the muse you are planning to drop for at least one month, and there must be five or less threads for that muse, or the new muse will not be accepted. The first part is to prevent people from switching muses too frequently, and the latter is to prevent the existence of too many non-playable characters. This rule also assumes that the reason for dropping and re-applying is because there was a lack of role-playing with the old muse that re-applying for a new muse would remedy. For special cases or circumstances, you may always get in touch with the mod, Dedra.

5. USE DECENT ENGLISH
*** Since all of us don’t come from the same country, we must use the English language so that most of us could understand what you are posting. Correct grammar is not necessary as long as it’s understandable. In addition, you can type in chinese/japanese/korean text to your thread but please place a translation to your text under a bracket ex. [translation here].

6. BE ACTIVE
*** Yes, we know that we all have lives of our own and the internet isn’t our only source of life and happiness. In order to stay alive and to keep having fun, any good role-playing community needs active members. Please do try posting once in a week so that we will know if you’re still interested in the game. If you’re going on hiatus, please do leave a message in the Hiatus board stating your reason and up to when you are going to be inactive. The maximun length of time to be in a hiatus will be a month. Inactive users without notice and overdue hiatuses will be automatically deleted and your muses will be up for grabs.

7. BE FRIENDLY. RESPECT OTHER MUNS.
*** This is just a GAME! It’s not something to fight about. This is purposely made to create enjoyment and not fights. So please do treat each other with respect, the same way you would want others to treat you.

8. RP POSTS SHOULD BE AT LEAST A PARAGRAPH LONG
*** Its clear, isn’t it? A single sentence or two is quite hard to reply so please make it descriptive or longer.

9. BE PATIENT. *NEW*
*** If your partner doesn't post a response to your thread immediately, please don't go nagging them to post up quickly as soon as possible. Though, you may ask them a question if they are going to reply or not but don't do this every now and then. This action may somewhat turn off other players in playing with you. Patience is the key to everything.

II. POSTING RULES

1. Titles should reflect the date of post, status and rating (You may leave out the rating if it is G.) If any, place in the topic description, just below the topic title, the DAY No. & the TITLE of your RP. *NEW*
e.g.

Topic Title: [Date] Status/Rating

- For example:

[January 1, 2001] OPEN or [January 1, 2001] OPEN/ PG-13
*** means the role-playing game is still on-going.
[January 1, 2001] CLOSED or [January 1, 2001] CLOSED/ PG-13
*** means the role-playing game has ended.

Topic Description: Day No. - Thread Title *NEW*

- For example: Day 0- First Encounter

*** Check the Calendar Thread for a guidance in the Day No. of your thread.

2. Include this in the first post of your thread:

Characters Involved:
Time:
**First Location: (Applicable only to those who had changed location. See posting rule # 10.)

Example: Your FIRST Post (Character as JaeJoong):

Characters: Kim JaeJoong, Kim JunSu, Park YooChun (**or you could add OPEN TO ANYONE if you would like someone other than your plotting partner to join in)
Time: Morning (**or you could place a specific time)

3. When in-character, don't change the font/color/size of your text.

4. If you want to talk as an OOC (Out of Character) in your posts, you may do so in the end of your post but with a label of OOC in the first part of your OOC posts.

Example:

Your Post (Character as JaeJoong):

JaeJoong ran towards his friends room and saw them still sleeping on their beds. On the bed on his side, lays JunSu who was sleeping soundly with his hands wrapped around his stuffed bunny. JaeJoong smiled at the angelic sleeping form of his friend but frowned when his eyes darted towards the other bed, to where YooChun was snoring loudly.

OOC: So here it is! If you want to say something to the readers or to your plotting partner, you can write it all here provided you place those OOC letters on the start.

5. When or in-character don't use smileys, emoticons or images. You may do so only when you're in OOC.

6. Don’t use shortcuts or ‘chat lingo’ when typing a word. Some people find it hard to read, confusing and annoying.

E.g. I Luv u, juz get 8, tke care etc.

7. Absolutely no StIcKyCaPs.

8. No Godmoding/Powerplaying or controlling other characters in your posts. This basically means you should only control the actions of your character and yours alone.

9. Write in third person POV.

10) If your thread changes locations (moves to outside the dorm to the park, etc.), then a new thread needs to be made and the old one closed. In the old thread, place a link at the as a last post directing towards your new location. In the new thread, place the link to your first location at the FIRST LOCATION space.

11.) Adult themed threads are allowed but must be titled appropriately, including any warnings.

12.) There is no limit on to how many threads you may participate in. Just be reasonable and don't go overboard.

13.) After making a new thread, joining an existing thread or closing one, please leave a message on the Calendar Entries found in the Calendar Thread Forum, indicating that you have either made, joined or closed a thread. Please follow necessary format of submission found there. This is necessary to have an easier and quicker update of the Calendar Thread. Failure to leave messages for posts will result in deletions of the posts/threads after several warnings.*NEW. UPDATED. JULY 2, 2009*

III. CONSEQUENCE FOR BREAKING THE RULES

A three-strikes warning system is now in effect. Though it varies for each rule, you may receive a warning. Three warnings and you're banned. Temporarily or permanently - it will depend on the seriousness of your offenses.

1ST VIOLATION= WARNING
2ND VIOLATION= WARNING
3RD VIOLATION= WITHDRAWAL OF CHARACTER AND BANNING
(Your character will be taken away from you and you won’t be able to get another one.)

If you’re still confused just PM me or leave a comment in the Questions area for clarifications. Thank you for taking your time in reading the rules.
